## Title: Investment Promotion Officer I
About the Role
The Warehouse Receipt System Council (WRSC) seeks a dedicated Investment Promotion Officer I to drive investment opportunities and support the development of warehouse infrastructure across the organization's value chains.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement guidelines, standards, frameworks, and plans related to investment promotion
- Identify and propose potential investment opportunities through market analysis
- Support investments in the development of privately and publicly managed warehouses
- Implement business and investment plans in collaboration with stakeholders
- Conduct market surveys to identify investment and business opportunities
- Facilitate implementation of investment marketing projects
- Map investment opportunities along the value chain and prepare investor profiles
- Connect depositors with financial institutions for warehouse receipt financing
- Develop investment promotion programmes for local and international markets
- Identify trends and growth opportunities for WRS investment initiatives
- Prepare content for investor manuals and educational materials
- Participate in investor conferences, forums, and WRS-related activities
- Design and implement aftercare programmes for investors
- Link investors to value chains participating in WRS
- Analyze investment promotion data and compile reports
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years of service in the grade of Investment Promotion Officer II
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or equivalent degree
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
