Investment Promotion Officer I at Warehouse Receipt System Council- WRSC

About the Role

The Warehouse Receipt System Council (WRSC) seeks a dedicated Investment Promotion Officer I to drive investment opportunities and support the development of warehouse infrastructure across the organization's value chains.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Implement guidelines, standards, frameworks, and plans related to investment promotion
• Identify and propose potential investment opportunities through market analysis
• Support investments in the development of privately and publicly managed warehouses
• Implement business and investment plans in collaboration with stakeholders
• Conduct market surveys to identify investment and business opportunities
• Facilitate implementation of investment marketing projects
• Map investment opportunities along the value chain and prepare investor profiles
• Connect depositors with financial institutions for warehouse receipt financing
• Develop investment promotion programmes for local and international markets
• Identify trends and growth opportunities for WRS investment initiatives
• Prepare content for investor manuals and educational materials
• Participate in investor conferences, forums, and WRS-related activities
• Design and implement aftercare programmes for investors
• Link investors to value chains participating in WRS
• Analyze investment promotion data and compile reports

Required Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of service in the grade of Investment Promotion Officer II
• Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Marketing, Business Management, Commerce, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or equivalent degree
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
