## Title: Investment Advisor
About the Opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide suitable advice tailored to clients' needs and requirements
- Prepare and present proposals to existing and potential clients using state-of-the-art investment planning tools
- Meet with clients to understand their financial objectives
- Explain complex investment advisory information in a clear and accessible way
- Manage, maintain, and build new and existing client relationships
- Grow a client book within the first 6 months and consistently thereafter
- Adhere to compliance, operational procedures, and practice management standards
- Stay abreast of product information, performance, and industry changes
- Build a sustainable book of clients in the corporate and retail segments
- Consistently achieve allocated Sales Production Targets as per performance scorecard
Education and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field
- Relevant Commercial or Financial Tertiary qualification
- CISI Module I and II
- Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Planning (advantageous)
Experience and Knowledge
- 5 years' experience in the Financial Services industry in a sales role within Asset/Wealth and Investment management spaces
- Knowledge and understanding of dynamics in the allocated market
- Experience and track record in high-performance sales environments
- Knowledge of best practice in Investment Planning and Advisory Services
- Knowledge and understanding of investment planning through meaningful client engagements
- Understanding of consultative sales methodology
- Experience using CRM systems
