## Title: Investment Advisor

About the Role

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth in investment advisory services. You will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and building a sustainable client base across corporate and retail segments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide suitable investment advice tailored to clients' needs and requirements
  • Prepare and present proposals to existing and potential clients using state-of-the-art investment planning tools
  • Meet with clients to understand their financial objectives and develop appropriate strategies
  • Explain complex investment information in a clear and accessible manner
  • Manage, maintain, and build new and existing client relationships
  • Grow your client book within the first 6 months and consistently thereafter
  • Adhere to compliance, operational procedures, and practice management standards
  • Stay current with product information, performance data, and industry changes
  • Consistently achieve allocated Sales Production Targets as per performance scorecard

Required Education and Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a relevant field
  • Relevant Commercial or Financial tertiary qualification
  • CISI Module I and II
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Investment Planning (advantageous)

Required Experience and Knowledge

  • 5 years' experience in the Financial Services industry in a Sales role within Asset/Wealth and Investment management
  • Knowledge and understanding of allocated market dynamics
  • Experience and track record in high-performance sales environments
  • Knowledge of best practice in Investment Planning and Advisory Services
  • Knowledge and understanding of investment planning through meaningful client engagements
  • Knowledge of consultative sales methodology
  • Experience using CRM systems
