Internet Installer- Kisumu

About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to join their installation team in Kisumu. This position involves coordinating with dispatch, managing daily appointments, and ensuring quality internet service installations for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with dispatch for daily appointments and service schedules
• Test electrical equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning of routers and service
• Carry materials and prepare staging at customer premises
• Guide, coordinate and oversee fellow installers
• Educate customers about service benefits and up-sell add-on products
• Evaluate and monitor the performance and quality standards of sub-contractors
• Maintain installation tools and equipment in safe working order
• Educate customers on features and functionality of installed products
• Assist with task completion within allocated timeframes
• Manage parts, shipping, receiving and inventory as needed
• Review paperwork with customers where required
• Assist in removal and installation of materials at customer premises
• Work in various climates and physical conditions, including small spaces and heights
• Wear all identification, safety and courtesy equipment at all times

Required Qualifications

• College degree (preferred)
• Previous trade experience (a plus)
• Valid motorcycle or motorcar driver's license
• Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Job-specific skills such as splicing and racking
