About the Role

Tire World Ltd seeks a dedicated Internal Auditor to provide comprehensive financial and operational audit oversight. You will manage the full audit cycle, from planning and risk assessment through reporting and follow-up, ensuring the organization maintains robust internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial and operational audits, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk assessments
• Objectively review the organization's business processes and identify opportunities for refinement and improvement
• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting processes, documentation, and data
• Reconcile documentation with actual inventory and assets to ensure accuracy
• Perform and control the full audit cycle, including risk management and control assessment over operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and regulatory compliance
• Evaluate the efficacy of existing risk management procedures
• Assess best financial practices and provide informed recommendations
• Identify control loopholes and recommend risk mitigation measures and cost savings opportunities
• Make recommendations to improve internal controls and governance processes
• Prepare and present audit reports documenting findings and recommendations
• Ensure organizational compliance with applicable laws, statutes, and regulations
• Protect organizational assets against fraud and theft
• Support the development of assurance planning and reporting processes
• Serve as an objective source of independent advice regarding audit validity, legality, and goal achievement
• Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's implementation of recommendations
• Engage in continuous professional development regarding sector regulations, best practices, tools, and techniques
