An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our Engineering client in Nairobi. This company specializes in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories, and fittings for the manufacturing, oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be competent and able to work with various brands.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and parts
• Deliver technical advice and support in supply, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and parts
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injectors
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Assist in testing received pumps and injectors according to job orders and customer specifications
• Assist in repairing pumps and injectors with required parts and specifications
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing and sales promotional activities
• Conduct customer visits and provide support through training and supply of catalogues and training materials
• Source sales leads and identify potential distribution partners
• Conduct comprehensive market research, qualify leads, and craft persuasive proposals
• Conduct regular field visits to prospects and generate sales
• Develop detailed customer profiles to understand current and future requirements
• Prepare accurate quotations to inform customers of prices and stock availability in a timely manner
• Follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payment for parts purchased on credit
• Respond to customer complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
• Provide exemplary client service through timely follow-ups and tailored solutions
• Assist in record keeping, filing, and stock taking
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned
