Human Resource Officer (Healthcare Industry) at MSVL Group

About the Role

MSVL Group is seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. This position plays a critical role in supporting our healthcare operations through strategic people management, regulatory compliance, and staff welfare initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, contracts, and staff credential verification
• Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure all clinical and non-clinical staff meet regulatory and audit compliance requirements
• Drive employee engagement initiatives and administer performance management cycles
• Address staff inquiries, welfare concerns, and disciplinary matters with timely, fair, and confidential resolution
• Guide management and staff on HR policies and labour law requirements
• Ensure HR processes align with healthcare regulations, clinical governance, and quality-of-care standards
• Support clinical teams and maintain rigorous credentialing standards
• Resolve staff welfare issues and support overall employee wellbeing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Mandatory CHRP certification and active membership with IHRM
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and clinical compliance requirements
