## Title: Human Resources & Compliance Officer
About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources & Compliance Officer based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Maintain organization staff files by establishing recruiting, testing, and interviewing programs; advising managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending improvements
- Conduct vetting checks on dedicated platforms for personnel during initial recruitment and follow-up stages
- Ensure that reference checks requested during recruitment comply with PSEAH guidelines
- Prepare employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs that promote WeWorld values and vision
- Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee, volunteer, and intern work results by training managers to coach staff, scheduling management conferences, hearing and resolving grievances, and counselling employees and supervisors
- Develop and maintain a yearly training plan for employees, interns, and volunteers, tracking implementation and progress
- Assist the Country Representative in ensuring proper implementation and respect of WeWorld policies and guidelines; design or adapt field policies and procedures for optimized management of financial resources
- Assist in the dissemination, implementation, compliance monitoring, and application of WeWorld Child Safeguarding Policy, Child Safeguarding & PSEAH Policy, Whistleblowing system, and all other organizational policies adopted by WeWorld
- Serve as PSEAH focal point and assist the Country Representative in ensuring safeguarding responsibilities in-country for relevant internal and external stakeholders, including preparing appropriate reports, managing PSEAH complaints on designated platforms, and providing necessary information and support
