Head of French at Banda School

About the Role

Banda School is seeking an experienced Head of French to lead the French department and promote academic excellence in language learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, ensuring compliance with the School's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the French departmental team
• Create a stimulating and engaging learning environment for pupils of all abilities
• Develop and deliver high-quality French instruction aligned with British Curriculum standards
• Build strong relationships with parents, families, and colleagues
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Maintain meticulous record-keeping and implement ICT in teaching practices
• Stay current with educational developments and commit to ongoing professional development

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or equivalent teaching qualification
• Proven experience working in British Curriculum schools
• Demonstrated passion for French language teaching and academic excellence
• Strong leadership experience with ability to inspire and develop team members
• Clean Certificate of Good Conduct or International Child Protection Certificate (ICPC)
