## Title: General Manager
About the Role
A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this General Manager position, responsible for leading overall business operations and driving strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive strategic plans to achieve all revenue, market expansion, and brand objectives
- Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, cultivating partnerships, and monitoring industry trends
- Ensure organizational alignment by synchronizing strategies across sales, marketing, production, and finance departments
- Oversee and optimize all day-to-day operations across the company, ensuring efficient use of resources and operational effectiveness
- Uphold the company's integrity and legality by implementing and enforcing company policies, standard operating procedures, and all regulatory compliance measures
- Maintain high standards of quality, customer service, and safety across all operational areas
- Direct all financial aspects, including developing budgets, monitoring expenses, approving major capital expenditures, and ensuring targets for revenue and profitability are met
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse leadership team, overseeing HR management, performance evaluations, and fostering a high-performance culture
- Represent the company to build strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including suppliers, distributors, regulatory authorities, and industry forums
- Identify and implement strategies to mitigate operational and business risks while safeguarding company assets and intellectual property
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 7-10 years of senior management experience, preferably in cosmetics, FMCG, retail, or related industries
- Proven track record in business growth, operational management, and strategic leadership
- Experience managing multi-department operations and cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of the Kenyan market and regulatory environment
