## Title: Gender Intern

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to support gender integration initiatives within the IGNITE+ model at Tanager.

Support the implementation of gender technical assistance as per the IGNITE+ model
Contribute to strengthening institutional systems and structures towards gender integration for IGNITE+ clients
Support the design and delivery of participatory training, sensitization workshops, and capacity-building activities on gender integration for clients
Support the development and piloting of capacity-building tools that integrate both gender and nutrition into the design and implementation of agriculture activities
Respond to routine client queries and escalate appropriately to ensure timely and accurate responses to enquiries
Support the preparation of gender-related reports while adhering to Tanager corporate standards and quality controls
Accompany Tanager staff in partner meetings and workshops, and contribute to project learning
Perform other related duties as required

Bachelor's degree in gender studies, development studies, sociology, anthropology, women's studies, or related discipline
Recently completed or near completion of a master's degree in the above fields of study (within the last 12-18 months)
Good understanding of global and continental commitment mechanisms for gender in agriculture for stakeholders such as governments, NGOs, and the private sector
Understanding of gender in agriculture and women's empowerment concepts and approaches

Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, well-organized documents
Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback
Ability to build and maintain relationships with teams while navigating challenging or unexpected circumstances
Advanced computer skills in a Windows-based environment, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
Fluency in English
