French Teacher

Makini School Kisumu, is seeking a dynamic and experienced French Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Early Years and Lower Primary. The teacher will support curriculum implementation, lesson planning, assessment strategies, and ongoing French lessons to focus on building foundational language skills, fostering interest in the language, and developing cultural awareness across the section. Key Qualifications and Experience Required - At least five years of demonstrable teaching experience in a recognized School, preferably one delivering the CBE Curriculum - Bachelor of Education (Arts) French degree from a recognised institution. - Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Skills: , knowledge, abilities & values - Proven ability to work collaboratively and flexibly with a diverse team of teachers .Should have the ability to design lesson plans - Knowledge of CEFR Level (C1/C2) will be an added advantage - Clear understanding of coding and robotics and ability to teach the same to learners - Excellent communicator with good presentation skills - Passionate about fostering computer literacy and academic excellence. - Strong leadership skills - Interpersonal skills - Self-driven - Be willing to inspire, challenge, motivate and empower students
