Environmental Technician at Senior Environmental and Engineering Ltd (SEEL)

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Environmental Technician located in Nairobi County, Kenya. You will perform daily environmental monitoring tasks, conduct remediation projects, and support Environmental Impact Assessment initiatives. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you will maintain high standards of quality and reliability in environmental services delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in environmental monitoring activities
• Conduct remediation projects to address environmental impacts
• Support Environmental Impact Assessment projects
• Collect and analyze environmental data
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Expertise in Environmental Services, including analysis and monitoring
• Experience with remediation projects
• Knowledge of groundwater and soil assessment methods
• Basic familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance requirements

• Strong reporting and documentation skills
• Proficiency in using technical equipment and software for environmental assessments (advantageous)
