## Title: Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – Wheat Milling Plant
About the Role
MSVL Group is seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee electrical maintenance operations at our wheat milling plant in Nairobi, Kenya. This leadership position requires a skilled professional with deep expertise in industrial electrical systems, plant automation, and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance for motors, drives, control panels, sensors, weighing systems, pneumatic automation systems, and PLC-based controls
- Supervise electrical technicians and ensure all work is performed safely and according to OEM specifications
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and step in for critical tasks to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Collaborate with the mechanical maintenance team to synchronize maintenance of roller mills and utility systems
- Diagnose faults in electrical circuits, VFDs, MCCs, and instrumentation, implementing timely corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, electrical schematic documentation, and compliance logs
- Enforce plant safety standards, including lockout/tagout and electrical safety procedures
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of electrical maintenance experience in milling or allied manufacturing industries
- Prior experience working in a wheat milling plant
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of automation, pneumatic systems, and PLC/SCADA troubleshooting
- Skilled in interpreting electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, and machine manuals
- Analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving
- Safety-conscious mindset with demonstrated commitment to workplace safety
- Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
- Willingness to provide hands-on support and ensure correct execution of maintenance tasks
