Driver -Grade III - 3 Posts at Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology (MMUST)

Job Purpose

Responsible for provision of transport services to staff, students and visitors by delivering safe transportation from different points within or outside the University. Ensure safety of company vehicles at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and maintain vehicles in good working condition
• Detect common mechanical faults on vehicles
• Carry out minor repairs including oiling and greasing
• Maintain daily work tickets for vehicles
• Ensure safety of vehicles on and off the road and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time

Minimum Requirements

• Kenya Certificate of Secondary School Grade D and above
• Valid driving license with a minimum of one (1) year working experience
• Suitability Test III for drivers
• Occupational Trade Test III for drivers
• Defensive Driving Certificate from the Automobile Association (AA) of Kenya
• First Aid Certificate Course
• Certificate of Good Conduct
