Driver

We are looking for a qualified candidate to fill this position. - We are Christian school in the education sector seeking a competent Driver who will be responsible for picking up learners as advised on established routes and dropping them off at school and designated homes. Ensure that there is a safe environment within the bus by obeying, and enforcing all laws, regulations, and rules of conduct. Key Responsibilities: - Transporting learners to and from school, to school activities and school trips. - Reporting delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations, using telephones or other methods of communication. - Complying with traffic regulations to operate vehicles safely and courteously. (Observing speed limits and obeying road signs). - Following safety rules as learners are boarding and exiting buses, and as they cross streets near bus stops. - Picking up and dropping off learners at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules. - Ensure safety in driving by avoiding dents, scratches, and any accident towards the bus/van, and if liable, the driver will be held accountable. - Accommodating special needs learners by helping them get on and off the vehicle with equipment like a wheelchair, walker, or arm and leg braces among others. Requirements: - Valid Driving License - Valid PSV Badge - Valid certificate of good conduct - 4 years' relevant experience - Computer Skills - Excellent Customer care skills
