About Us
We are a leading professional training institution offering ICDL Certification, Computer Applications, Graphic & Web Design, and Business Accounting Software (QuickBooks & Sage). Our mission is to empower learners with practical, market-ready digital competencies that open doors to employment, freelancing, and entrepreneurship. We are expanding our Digital Skills Department and seeking a dedicated Digital Skills & ICDL Instructor to support our growing learner community.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach learners ICDL modules, Computer Applications, Graphic Design, Web Design, Python, Sage, and QuickBooks short courses
- Deliver engaging, practical lessons designed to build real-world digital competency
- Develop and update teaching materials including syllabi, schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and project briefs
- Prepare learners for ICDL certification exams and internal practical assessments
- Guide learners in hands-on digital projects (design tasks, websites, spreadsheets, accounting exercises, etc.)
- Create an inclusive and interactive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and digital problem-solving
- Support learners individually and in groups, both in class and during practical lab sessions
- Maintain student progress records, attendance, and assessment outcomes
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum delivery and integrate new technologies
- Participate in continuous professional development and team meetings
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Training Manager
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Demonstrated skill in Graphic and CAD Design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Web Design (HTML, CSS, WordPress or site builders)
- Ability to teach QuickBooks and computerized accounting concepts
- Knowledge and experience with ICDL curriculum standards
