About the Role

Generation is expanding its team and seeking a Digital Marketing Freelance Super Agent to support graduate job placement and mentorship. In this dynamic role, you will guide recent graduates through their early career journey, helping them secure gigs and build successful freelance careers in digital marketing.

Graduate Job-Linkages

• Onboard an agreed-upon number of graduates for a 6-week apprenticeship program, providing mentorship and connecting them with gigs to kick-start their earning journey
• Support graduates in landing new jobs through job linkages, including shared contracts, subcontracting opportunities, or introductions to potential clients
• Develop and implement a structured mentorship program that ensures graduates:
  • Practice learned skills to meet industry standards
  • Work on gigs under your guidance to attain required standards
  • Gain confidence to work independently on allocated gigs
  • Learn how to find gigs independently
• Review graduate portfolios and platform accounts to ensure alignment with skill levels and market standards
• Provide continuous coaching and upskilling aligned with industry needs

Transition Month Support

• Mentor graduates over a one-month transition period to acquire gigs independently and evaluate their work before client submission
• Provide complementary job linkages during the transition period to help graduates achieve their earning targets
• Conduct follow-up and support sessions for graduates struggling to secure their first independent gig
• Create a peer mentorship structure for upcoming cohorts

Monitoring and Reporting

• Develop a monitoring and reporting framework in collaboration with Generation Kenya to track graduate progress during the attachment period
• Provide biweekly progress updates using an agreed-upon template
• Participate in regular check-ins with the Generation Kenya team
• Collaborate with the Generation Kenya team to identify and address training quality issues and emerging challenges
