Role Overview

Our engineering client in Nairobi specializes in heavy machinery spare parts, accessories, and fittings for the manufacturing, oil and gas industries. We are seeking a qualified Diesel Injection Technician who is competent in working with various brands and can provide comprehensive technical expertise.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical expertise regarding injector pumps and parts
• Deliver technical advice and support in supply, maintenance, and calibration of injector pumps and parts
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injectors
• Perform tests and conduct routine maintenance and servicing on injectors
• Assist in testing received pumps and injectors as per job orders and customer specifications
• Repair pumps and injectors with required parts following standard repair procedures
• Participate in planning and execution of marketing and sales promotional activities
• Conduct customer visits and provide training and supply of catalogues and training materials
• Conduct market research, qualify leads, and develop persuasive proposals
• Source sales leads and conduct regular field visits to prospects
• Provide exemplary client service through timely follow-ups and tailored solutions
• Develop detailed customer profiles to understand current and future requirements
• Prepare accurate quotations and close sales
• Follow up with credit customers to ensure timely payment
• Respond promptly to customer complaints to enhance satisfaction and retention
• Assist in developing parts distribution networks through identification of potential partners
• Support record keeping, filing, and stock taking
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure proper inventory management and reporting
