Job Profile

The job holder is responsible for strategic infrastructure innovations, formulation and utilization of policies, regulations and procedures, as well as planning, directing and coordinating the design, installation and connectivity of computer systems and network infrastructure to ensure a robust ICT platform.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Governance

• Spearhead the formulation of the divisional strategic plan and ensure its implementation to support the realization of the institution's objectives
• Ensure alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to mitigate directorate risks and support closure of audit issues
• Oversee budget formulation and implementation for the division to ensure prudent management of the institution's finances

Infrastructure Management and Service Delivery

• Ensure uptime and high availability of the infrastructure environment in line with the institution charter to enhance customer service delivery
• Oversee innovative acquisition of infrastructure technologies for implementation of quality platforms
• Establish efficient communication systems to enable smooth and fast retrieval of customer information
• Coordinate ICT infrastructure and support functions for both headquarters and regional offices to ensure seamless system access

Business Continuity and Risk Management

• Ensure the planning and testing of the Business Continuity Plan to protect divisional human capital and assets
• Enable quick resumption of operations in the event of a disaster
• Develop and implement Service Level Agreements with end users and third-party service providers to enhance customer service delivery
• Develop and maintain the divisional risk register to mitigate divisional and institutional risks
