Job Profile

The job holder is responsible for business applications strategic planning, innovations, improvement of operational processes, and support for critical business strategies. This role involves directing and coordinating the development, implementation, and maintenance of innovative solutions for business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project teams during development and implementation of ICT software projects to ensure applications meet user requirements
• Ensure timely development and implementation of innovative and effective systems within the institution to enhance customer service delivery
• Ensure alignment to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework to mitigate directorate and institutional risks
• Spearhead the formulation, interpretation, and application of ICT business applications policies, procedures, rules, and regulations within the division
• Ensure safe custody, access control, and uptime of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer information
• Ensure uptime and high availability of all business applications in accordance with the institution charter to enable continuous customer service delivery
• Ensure the security of all organizational data to guarantee availability and reliability of information
• Supervise ICT software development and maintenance to ensure standards are followed, adequate systems documentation is maintained, and knowledge transfer to other developers is achieved
• Ensure effective change management in business applications to mitigate system disruptions
• Drive the division's business continuity management activities to ensure human and other divisional assets are protected and continuity of operations is maintained during disruptions
