## Title: Deputy Director, Administration
Job Purpose
Provide leadership in enhancing the office's staff ability to manage and organize operations effectively and professionally. Develop appropriate office and assets management strategies, establish administrative procedures, plan and control the administration department budget, and provide general administrative services to NSDCC staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee implementation of property management, security, and transport policies, regulations, and procedures
- Oversee contracted outsourced services including security and cleaning services
- Maintain updated registers of assets
- Schedule estate maintenance and oversee repair and maintenance of buildings, vehicles, and equipment
- Approve movement and transfer of Council equipment
- Assess security risks and advise management on risk mitigation measures and property management
- Liaise with external law enforcement officers and relevant organs for security and emergency operations
- Approve and oversee implementation of lease agreements
- Oversee management of company fleet
- Oversee provision of office administrative services
- Plan and approve appropriate office accommodation and layout
- Safeguard the assets of the Council
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills
Required Qualifications
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Master's Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Sociology, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized institution
Professional Qualifications
- Membership in a relevant professional body
