## Title: Senior Lecturer in Criminal Justice and Security Management

Africa Nazarene University is seeking a qualified Senior Lecturer to join the Criminal Justice and Security Management department in Nairobi, Kenya.

Develop, plan, and implement high-quality curriculum
Review and update curriculum and course outlines; develop comprehensive course and lesson plans
Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
Employ various teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to enhance student learning
Develop learning assessment plans
Supervise and guide undergraduate and graduate students, as well as internship and research work
Conduct departmental and specialist area research, publishing findings in professional journals, books, and electronic media
Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
Provide academic and career advising to students
Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, and participate in industrial linkages and market outreach initiatives
Contribute to departmental administrative operations and field programs

Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer or Senior Researcher, OR six (6) years of research or industry experience
Minimum of thirty-two (32) publication points as a Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least twenty-four (24) must be from peer-reviewed scholarly journals
Demonstrated national, regional, and international recognition for research
Supervised at least three (3) post-graduate students to completion as a Lecturer or equivalent
Track record of attracting research funds as a Lecturer or Research Fellow
