## Title: Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Security Management
Position Overview
This position offers a significant opportunity for career growth in academia, combining teaching excellence with research leadership in Criminal Justice and Security Management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, planning, and implementation of high-quality curriculum
- Review curriculum and course outlines; develop course and lesson plans
- Prepare contact learning and online course materials and teaching aids
- Employ various teaching methods including field studies, group activities, assignments, laboratory sessions, and off-class activities to support student learning and deliver course content
- Develop learning assessment plans
- Supervise and guide undergraduate students, graduate students, internship programs, and research work
- Participate in departmental research and conduct research in specialist areas, publishing findings in professional journals, books, or electronic media
- Participate in grant writing and research collaborations
- Advise students on academic, career, and related issues as required
- Attend conferences, workshops, seminars, industrial linkages, and market outreach visits as required
- Participate in departmental administrative and field operations and programs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Senior Lecturer, OR six (6) years of senior research/industry experience
- Minimum of forty-eight (48) publication points as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent, of which at least thirty-two (32) should be from peer-reviewed scholarly journals
- National, regional, and international recognition for research
- Supervised at least four (4) postgraduate students to completion, including at least one doctoral student
- Demonstrated ability to attract research funds as a Senior Lecturer/Senior Research Fellow
