Credit Officer

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. - Industry: Microfinance  - Location: Ngong Road – Nairobi  - Remuneration: 50k Gross Key Responsibilities: - Build, manage, and grow a high-quality loan portfolio - Market the company’s financial products and acquire quality clients - Promote the company brand and lending solutions - Conduct loan appraisal, analysis, and approval processes in line with policy - Ensure timely collection of loan principal and interest - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and databases - Conduct client site visits for loan appraisal and portfolio monitoring - Prepare and submit weekly and monthly performance reports - Liaise with service providers to recover non-performing loans - Provide basic business advisory services to clients when required Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field OR - Diploma in Business or Cooperative Management with at least three (3) years’ lending and Debt recovery experience - Proven track record of strong performance and achievement of targets - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
