## Title: Cosmetics Account Executive

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team as a Cosmetics Account Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sophisticated strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and growth objectives for assigned high-value accounts (retailers, spas, distributors)
  • Act as an authoritative product expert, conducting in-depth consultations, training sessions, and product demonstrations for both clients and retail partners, covering ingredients, application techniques, and benefits
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, negotiating contracts and terms effectively to ensure mutual satisfaction and profitable growth
  • Utilize extensive industry knowledge to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, providing actionable insights to the marketing and product development teams
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior representatives or beauty advisors, fostering a culture of expertise, professionalism, and goal achievement
  • Collaborate on and execute promotional events, trade shows, and campaigns to boost brand visibility and drive customer acquisition

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree or cosmetology certification is a plus)
  • Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in sales, account management, or a senior client-facing role within the cosmetics or beauty industry
  • Professional and polished demeanor with the gravitas to manage complex client relationships and represent the brand with credibility at all levels
  • In-depth, encyclopedic knowledge of cosmetic products, skincare, makeup artistry, and current beauty industry trends
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuade stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and think strategically to drive long-term business outcomes
