About the Role

A reputable organization seeks dedicated individuals for 2 Clinical Instructor positions. You will supervise, instruct, and evaluate students in hospital and university laboratory settings, as well as other approved health facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, instruct, and evaluate students in clinical and laboratory environments
• Plan and conduct student conferences
• Demonstrate nursing skills and procedures to students
• Perform clinical instructions and practical demonstrations
• Observe and evaluate student return demonstrations, providing guidance as needed
• Conduct practical assessments of students
• Assist in tutoring students in preparation for examinations
• Coordinate students' clinical work with nurses and institutional education departments
• Monitor and evaluate students' progress
• Plan and review student assignments, observing the development of skills and procedures
• Maintain a current library of nursing periodicals and books, and inform students of available resources
• Supervise the operation of audiovisual equipment and materials, and prepare clinical/laboratory equipment for demonstrations and lectures
• Order necessary supplies and equipment for student clinical and laboratory-based learning
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Required Qualifications and Experience

• First degree and postgraduate qualification in nursing or closely related discipline
• Current registration with the relevant Regulatory Body
• Minimum 2 years of clinical practice in a hospital setting
• Diploma or certificate in education or equivalent (advantageous)
• Teaching experience (advantageous)
