Position Overview

We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing the general cleanliness and maintenance of our facility while supervising and coordinating our cleaning operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations within assigned premises
• Allocate duties to cleaning staff and monitor performance to ensure quality service delivery
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ensure cleaning materials, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and used safely
• Train, guide, and motivate cleaning staff for optimal performance
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed
• Enforce compliance with company health, safety, and hygiene policies
• Handle and resolve staff or client complaints related to cleaning services
• Prepare and submit daily or weekly cleaning and maintenance reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum KCSE Certificate
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Good knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and modern cleaning techniques
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain high standards under pressure
• High levels of integrity and accountability

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Housekeeping, Environmental Science, or related field
