## Title: Chief Executive Officer

Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. Reporting to the Governing Council, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for implementing the Council's decisions in a results-oriented and timely manner to achieve organizational goals, objectives, and performance targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to achieve the renewed mission and guarantee financial sustainability
  • Ensure efficient running of the affairs of the Governing Council and General Meetings with utmost diligence and efficiency
  • Serve as an effective spokesperson on matters of organizational policy and implementation
  • Promote efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in organizational mechanisms
  • Lead lobby efforts towards a strong policy and legal framework that supports growth of effective alternative dispute resolution mechanisms
  • Secure sustainable funding through membership, programs, and partnerships to guarantee financial sustainability
  • Fulfill any other responsibilities necessary to achieve organizational objectives

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Law, Banking, Finance, Financial Economics, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience at senior level management in the banking or finance sector
  • Practicing professional member with relevant professional body
  • Demonstrable expertise in non-profit associations, credit information, banking, governance, and related fields

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to build and manage complex or delicate relationships and build consensus among diverse stakeholders with disparate and sometimes competing interests
  • Results-oriented and self-driven leadership approach
  • Strong track record in strategy formulation, managing change, organizational growth, and performance management
  • Practical experience in relevant domains
