About the Role

The National Research Fund seeks a dedicated and qualified individual to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Trustees. This leadership position offers the opportunity to guide a reputable organization committed to research and development.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for appointment as Chairperson, you must meet all of the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of Kenya
• Hold a doctorate degree from a university recognized in Kenya
• Have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in leadership and management of public or private institutions
• Possess knowledge and proven experience in finance and investment
• Have a proven track record in fundraising and resource mobilization
• Not be a serving public servant
• Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya

• National Identity Card or Passport
• Academic and professional certificates and transcripts
• Commission for University Education Clearance letter (for degrees obtained from universities outside the Republic of Kenya)
• Valid and current clearance certificates from:
  • Kenya Revenue Authority
  • Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
  • Department of Criminal Investigation
  • Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
  • Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
