## Title: Business Development Representative
About the Role
We are a dynamic team expanding and looking for the right talent. You will identify and develop business opportunities for the company by seeking new business prospects and cultivating relationships with specifiers including Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, and other key decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential specifiers through visits, calls, and emails
- Present the company and its offerings to potential clients (architects, surveyors, engineers, etc.)
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with specifiers
- Coordinate meetings and calls between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Report to the Business Development Manager on weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results
- Stay current with new products, services, pricing structures, and payment plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role in the construction industry
- Demonstrated experience working directly with specifiers in the construction industry
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
