Job description
## Title: Business Development & Partnerships Officer
Key Accountability & Deliverables
- Secure and maintain KES 500,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) by the end of Quarter 1 and scale it thereafter by landing foundational client retainers and projects
- Achieve and sustain the critical revenue target to fund operations
- Secure the first 3-5 signature commercial engagements that form the revenue base
- Establish foundational partnerships for local delivery and credibility
What We're Looking For
- Legal background (mandatory)
- Proven track record in business development for professional services, preferably in legal, environmental, or advisory sectors
- Demonstrated knowledge of African and international sustainability, ESG, and conservation markets
- At least four years of experience with BD systems and tools (CRM, client satisfaction frameworks, performance dashboards)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and training skills
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution
