About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to market and sell Executive Education Customized Solutions while building and cultivating sustainable key relationships with potential public and commercial partners, nationally and regionally. You will work in liaison with the Head of Customized Solutions to develop tailor-made programs and consultancy solutions that drive client success.
Job Purpose
To develop business opportunities in executive education customized solutions by identifying client needs, proposing tailored offerings, and maintaining strong partnerships that position the organization as a trusted knowledge partner in transforming African leaders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Sales
- Consult with clients to assess their unique needs and propose tailored solutions that address upcoming trends and promote business success
- Target new clients for business development and propose new initiatives for existing clients to increase sales opportunities and achieve personal and team financial targets
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, building industry linkages to sustain the organization as their knowledge partner
- Present to and consult with clients' senior management on business trends to develop effective custom solutions
- Continuously identify ways to increase customer experience and deepen client and partner relationships
Marketing
- Analyse and manage stakeholders to maintain close engagement and relationships with the market
- Undertake continuous business intelligence to understand client needs at organizational, industry, and country levels
- Ensure proposal of relevant and timely executive education and consultancy solutions
- Track client satisfaction through frequent client review meetings and effective evaluation of programs and consultancy engagements
Operational Excellence
- Support technical resource persons and key experts to ensure delivery of client promises and expected outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Considerable experience in consultancy solutions and client advisory
- Strong proposal writing and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
