## Title: Business Development Executive – Junior Level

About the Role

The Payment Products & Services Division drives the Company's payments business, delivering secure, reliable, and innovative payment solutions for businesses across Africa and beyond. We are seeking two Business Development Executives at the junior level to support our growing team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Pipeline Support

  • Support the business development team in identifying, qualifying, and tracking new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines in the CRM system

Proposal & Tender Support

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFPs, and tender responses
  • Coordinate inputs from internal teams and compile documentation
  • Ensure compliance with submission requirements

Client Engagement & Relationship Support

  • Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations
  • Support senior team members in building and maintaining strong customer relationships

Market & Competitor Intelligence

  • Conduct basic market research to identify industry trends and customer needs
  • Monitor competitor activities within the payments and fintech landscape
  • Share insights with the team

Product Knowledge & Presentations

  • Develop strong understanding of the Company's payment products and solutions
  • Support the delivery of solution presentations to prospective clients

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Prepare regular sales and activity reports
  • Update performance management dashboards
  • Ensure timely reporting of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field

Experience

  • 1–3 years' experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Client Relations
  • Exposure to payments, fintech, banking, or technology sales is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in Sales, Marketing, FinTech, or Payments
