## Title: Business Development Executive – Construction & Infrastructure
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Business Development Executive to drive growth and identify new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, and related sectors. This role offers the opportunity to build and maintain key client relationships while managing sales activities and contributing to the organization's revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and related sectors
- Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and consultants
- Prepare and submit tenders, proposals, and quotations in collaboration with technical teams
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential clients
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products and services
- Attend site visits, client meetings, and industry networking events
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities using CRM systems
- Collaborate with project and technical teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Stay up-to-date with industry changes and emerging trends
- Manage the sales team, including route planning and performance appraisals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field
- 5 years' experience in business development or sales within building and construction
- Strong understanding of construction processes, tendering procedures, and project cycles
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- Good understanding of contracts and tender documentation
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Financial and commercial awareness
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
