About the Role
Reports to: Head of Business
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing clients for Background Screening, KYC, and KBY services. This is not an entry-level role. The successful candidate must understand corporate sales cycles, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling approaches. We seek a proven sales professional with experience selling B2B professional services, compliance solutions, HR services, financial services, or risk-related products.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients including employers, corporates, SMEs, financial institutions, NGOs, development organizations, and recruitment agencies
- Actively sell employment background checks, KYC services, and KBY & corporate due diligence solutions
- Develop and execute a sales pipeline with measurable targets
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service packages
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company pricing and policies
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
- Maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat and retainer business
- Understand client compliance needs and recommend appropriate screening solutions
- Manage client onboarding in collaboration with operations teams
Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy
- Identify new market opportunities and partnerships
- Track competitor offerings and pricing trends
- Provide feedback to management on client needs, service improvements, and new product opportunities (e.g., sector-specific screening packages)
Required Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, HR, Law, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in business development and/or B2B sales
