Branch Manager at Tai Sacco Society Limited

About the Position

The Branch Manager provides effective leadership and oversight of branch operations to ensure efficient service delivery, business growth, and regulatory compliance. This role drives deposit mobilization, loan portfolio growth, member recruitment and retention, and increased uptake of ICT products, while maintaining asset quality, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring cost-effective branch performance in support of the Society's strategic objectives.

Reporting to: Head of Operations and Customer Care

Business Growth Responsibilities

• Grow customer base through consumer and business relationship development via internal and external marketing programs
• Maintain strong public relations with customers and the community
• Manage and lead the branch team in achieving business growth targets in accordance with the Tai SACCO Strategic Plan

Financial Responsibility

• Conduct budget planning and cost management with continuous evaluation of branch financial performance against budgets and strategic plan
• Take remedial actions when necessary to address variances
• Monitor loan portfolio quality on a daily basis and proactively implement corrective measures
• Prepare quarterly branch economic reports
• Ensure adequate portfolio balance across all lending categories

Branch Administration

• Manage daily branch operations competently and efficiently
• Comply with all departmental and SACCO policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ensure all internal control arrangements are strictly followed
• Comply with regulatory frameworks governing the SACCO

Corporate Governance

• Monitor and ensure 100% compliance with all Tai SACCO and regulatory policies, processes, procedures, and internal controls
• Ensure all branch licenses are renewed appropriately and properly displayed
