Position Overview

We are recruiting 12 Biosafety Officers to join our team. Officers at this level will work under the guidance of senior officers and will be assigned duties and responsibilities across our functional areas.

• Biosafety Licensing, Monitoring and Surveillance
• Border Management and Regional Offices
• Laboratory Services
• Biosafety Risk Evaluation
• Biosafety Awareness, Education and Capacity Building
• Biosafety Partnerships, Collaborations and International Obligations

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Molecular Biology
  • Biotechnology
  • Biological Sciences
  • Biochemistry
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Biosafety
  • Or other relevant qualification from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Fulfillment of the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
