About the Role

The National Biosafety Authority is recruiting 12 Biosafety Officers. At this level, officers will work under the guidance of senior officers and be assigned duties and responsibilities across various functional areas of biosafety management.

• Laboratory Services
• Biosafety Risk Evaluation
• Biosafety Awareness, Education and Capacity Building
• Biosafety Partnerships, Collaborations and International Obligations

Qualifications Required

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines:
  • Molecular Biology
  • Biotechnology
  • Biological Sciences
  • Biochemistry
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Agricultural Sciences
  • Biosafety
  • or relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
• Proficiency in Computer applications
• Fulfillment of the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
