## Title: Banqueting Supervisor

About This Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join our team. The Banqueting Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of events, banquets, and functions within the hotel. You will be responsible for delivering planned events flawlessly from start to finish, providing an excellent experience for all guests.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct, train, and motivate banquet staff to ensure high standards of service and professionalism
  • Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of events according to the Banquet Event Order and client specifications, including room layout, décor, table settings, and audio-visual equipment
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and guest hosts during events to address issues, special requests, and last-minute changes promptly
  • Liaise effectively with other departments, particularly the culinary team, regarding timing, food presentation, and other requirements
  • Monitor staff adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, and assist with labor cost control and scheduling
  • Plan, organize, and execute Meetings, Incentive, Conferences and Events (MICE) to ensure client satisfaction
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Handle client inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of events, inventory, and staff schedules
  • Assist in marketing and promoting banquet services
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and HACCP standards

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Hospitality Management
