Job description
We are seeking a Banqueting Chef who understands the art of large-scale luxury dining and thrives in a five-star environment where precision, creativity, and consistency matter.
This role is for a professional who is deeply hands-on, calm under pressure, and excited by modern culinary expression, from refined banqueting to à la carte excellence.
Key requirements:
- Local hire only – Kenyan citizen (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel operation
- International exposure is essential (UAE, UK, Cruise Ships, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of banqueting and à la carte operations
- Proven experience in fine dining and international cuisine
- Modern approach to food, current culinary techniques, and presentation
- Extremely hands-on, adaptable, and eager to keep learning
- Ability to perform consistently in high-pressure environments
