## Title: Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer
About the Role
We are seeking an Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the automotive parts and services sector. This position is based in Ruiru, Nairobi, and offers the opportunity to work with multiple dealerships while building strong customer relationships and executing strategic market initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Targets & Sales Performance
- Attain revenue targets per part line and overall territory performance
- Drive sell-out sales (revenue and SKU expansion) across assigned dealerships
- Achieve or exceed dealer revenue targets through proactive planning and performance monitoring
- Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures, and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate in setting annual sales objectives for the territory
- Monitor and optimize conversion rates throughout the sales funnel
Customer Support & Engagement
- Support customer engagement through forums, feedback collection, and new product communication
- Ensure consistent CRM usage and adherence to route plans
- Provide timely escalation of customer issues to the dealer
Reporting & Analytics
- Perform daily collation of target achievement metrics
- Track and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets
- Prepare performance dashboards for weekly reviews
- Submit regular reports on territory performance, dealer metrics, and action plans
Market Intelligence
- Monitor and report on competitor activities
- Provide customer insights through identification and recommendation of parts or services that meet customer needs
Market Activation
- Plan and execute ground marketing initiatives including road shows, market storms, and activations
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Graduate Degree or Diploma/Certificate in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
- KCSE Grade C or above
- At least one year's experience in outdoor sales, marketing, promotions, merchandising, or brand ambassador roles
- Understanding of motor vehicle parts and services (advantageous)
