About the Role

We are seeking an Automotive Aftersales Trade Developer to drive revenue growth and market expansion across assigned dealerships in Meru. This position combines sales development, customer support, market intelligence, and ground marketing to build a thriving automotive aftersales business.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Attainment

• Drive sell-out sales across assigned dealerships, focusing on revenue growth and SKU expansion
• Achieve or exceed dealer revenue targets through proactive planning and performance monitoring
• Monitor and optimize conversion rates throughout the sales funnel
• Collaborate in setting annual sales objectives for the territory
• Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures while recommending process improvements

Customer Support

• Support customer engagement through forums and feedback collection
• Communicate information on new products and services
• Maintain adherence to CRM usage and route plans
• Provide timely escalation of customer issues to the dealer

Reporting and Analytics

• Perform daily collation of target achievement
• Track and analyze monthly trends within assigned markets
• Prepare dashboards for weekly reviews
• Submit regular reports on territory performance, dealer metrics, and action plans

Market Intelligence

• Monitor and report on competitor activities
• Provide customer insights through identification and suggestion of parts or services that meet customer needs

Market Activation

• Plan and execute ground marketing initiatives including road shows, market storms, and activations

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Graduate Degree or Diploma/Certificate in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering
• KCSE Grade C or above
• At least one year's experience in outdoor sales, marketing, promotions, merchandising, or brand ambassador activities
• Understanding of motor vehicle parts and service (added advantage)
