## Title: Assistant Sales Manager - Carrier Business
About the Role
This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within the telecommunications sector. You will be responsible for managing key carrier partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue through strategic account management and solution-based selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with carrier partners, acquire RFP invites, present feasible and competitive solutions, and drive bids through to deal closure
- Develop deep understanding of own network capability and resale opportunities in the wholesale telecom market
- Explore new business opportunities and forge relationships with target clients through networking and presenting company services and capabilities
- Serve as primary contact point to carrier partners and clients, interface with partners, and organize commercial events and social interactions in collaboration with internal teams
- Conduct regular market research and contribute intelligence to pricing functions
- Coordinate with internal departments to position products competitively and ensure customer requirements are met on schedule
- Manage contracts with carrier partners and clients, ensuring all internal sales processes comply with company policies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in a related field from a reputable university
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the telecom industry with hands-on sales experience in the carrier or wholesale telecom market
- Ability to understand technical products and their commercial application in buying, selling, and contract formulation
- Strong account management and sales skills in both new business development (hunting) and existing account growth (farming)
- Result-oriented mindset with strong communication and negotiation skills
