Kenya Rural Roads Authority is seeking 5 motivated professionals for the position of Assistant Office Administrator II. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential administrative functions within a dynamic organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Taking oral dictation
- Word and data processing
- Managing e-office systems
- Operating office equipment
- Handling telephone calls and managing appointments
- Attending to visitors and clients
- Maintaining office diary and travel itineraries
- Establishing and monitoring procedures for record keeping of correspondence and file movements
- Maintaining an up-to-date filing system
- Managing office protocol
- Ensuring security of office records, equipment, documents, and classified materials
Required Qualifications
Work Experience:
- At least three (3) years relevant work experience at the grade of Assistant Office Administrator III or in a comparable position
Educational Requirements:
Candidates must have one of the following:
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC)
OR
- Certificates from Kenya National Examinations Council in the following areas:
- Typewriting II (minimum 50 w.p.m) or Computerized Document Processing III
- Shorthand II (80 wpm)
- Business English II or Communications I
- Office Practice II
- Secretarial Duties II
- Commerce II
- Office Management III or Office Administration and Management III
- Or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

- Proficiency in computer applications
- Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
