Assistant Manager – Resiliency

Job Purpose

This role supports the bank's ability to anticipate, prepare, respond to, and recover from disruptive events while ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations. The role holder will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational resilience strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Business Continuity Policy & Compliance

• Establish and maintain Business Continuity Plan (BCP) policy and processes
• Monitor regulatory updates and guidelines specific to business continuity management
• Recommend improvements and updates to policies, standards, and procedures

Risk Assessment

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to organizational operations, systems, and infrastructure
• Support cross-functional teams in developing and testing business continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical business functions and systems
• Update plans based on evolving risks and business needs

Business Impact Analysis (BIA)

• Coordinate the business impact analysis process to identify critical business functions
• Assess the potential impact of disruptions on operations
• Determine necessary steps to maintain business continuity and minimize risks

Crisis Management & Incident Response

• Support the management of risk events and incidents
• Coordinate response efforts to minimize operational disruption

Third-Party Risk Management

• Support the business in recommending appropriate resilience and continuity frameworks for managing third-party relationships

Training & Awareness

• Design and deliver training programs to promote business continuity awareness and ensure compliance
• Report regularly on program status and improvements

Management Reporting

• Provide regular reports to senior management, BCMP Team, CMT, and the board on operational resilience status
• Report on risks, incidents, and the effectiveness of continuity plans
