Job Profile

The job holder is responsible for coordinating the implementation of policies and procedures for efficient and effective strategic plan formulation, research, quality management, performance contracting, performance management, monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, and business process re-engineering. This role involves reviewing the strategic plan of the institution and ensuring alignment across all organizational functions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

  • Coordinate and develop the Board's Corporate strategy and monitor its implementation
  • Analyze key performance indicators for the formulation of departmental plans, programs and activities aligned to the corporate Mission and Government policies
  • Coordinate the formulation of overall strategy for the organization
  • Develop the strategic plan and align functional units with relevant government policies
  • Undertake strategy reviews in line with operating business environment and needs
  • Develop strategic frameworks designed to proactively identify and respond to changing market/environmental conditions, unplanned events, and deviations from plans
  • Coordinate the organizational budget planning cycle through alignment of budget and strategic plan

Performance and Coordination

  • Coordinate the Performance Contracting process in liaison with departmental representatives
  • Prepare periodic reports to relevant departments and authorities
  • Prepare division plans and budgets while effectively managing Corporate Performance
  • Compile and disseminate various Monitoring and Evaluation reports
  • Provide Performance Evaluation Feedback reports to departments

Innovation and Organizational Development

  • Supervise development of corporate innovation strategies and annual innovation plans
  • Supervise establishment and coordination of mainstreaming innovative culture within the organization
