Agriculture Technician

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Provide technical support during training. - Assist in developing and implementation of farm operations. - Assisting in the preparation of farm budgets and accounts - Assist in developing and implementation of crop / livestock duties - Assist in preparation of annual farm budgets and accounts. - Take trainees through practical sessions. - Prepare crop production schedules. - Keep farm records. - Manage livestock in the farm. - Any other duties as may be assigned by the superiors. Requirements: - Diploma in General Agriculture / Farm Management from a recognized Institution or any other related field. - At least two years of experience preferably in a learning Institution. - Strong practical skills in general Agriculture. - Knowledge of Competency based education and training (CBET). - Must be computer literate. - Must have a valid Certificate of good conduct.
