## Title: Administrative Assistant
About the Role
The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the school administrative system by handling inquiries, managing correspondence, delivering client support, and assisting staff to ensure smooth and efficient school operations.
Overall Responsibilities
- Promote a positive, purposeful, and professional school culture
- Support and motivate students, teachers, and other staff members
- Contribute to developing a caring school community by encouraging commitment, courtesy, cooperation, tolerance, and compassion
- Promote the school's vision, mission, philosophy, and core values through performance objectives
- Inspire trust and confidence among students, colleagues, parents, and other clients
Specific Responsibilities
Student Admissions
- Guide prospective parents and students through the admission process
- Explain the range of services and benefits offered by the school
- Conduct campus tours for prospective and new parents, highlighting available facilities
- Schedule and arrange student assessments and admission bookings
- Guide parents through student admission document completion
- Ensure medical forms are forwarded to the Wellness Centre upon student admission for medical record updates
Communication and Documentation
- Channel all school department communications to parents after approval by the Deputy Principal or School Principal
- File and update student registration documents in digiskool and iSAMS platforms
- Manage physical backup filing of student registration documents
- Assist the Administrator with sending reports not incorporated into iSAMS (such as club reports and BTEC reports) to parents via email
Growth and Development
- Ensure continuous growth in student enrollment by working closely with the Administrator and Communications and Marketing Office
