About the Role
Our client, a leading telecommunications provider, seeks an Activation Team Lead to drive channel visitations and enhance retailer awareness for SIM activations and Float services. This role focuses on visibility and merchandising optimization at point of purchase for SSOs (Subscriber Service Outlets) and T-Kash agents.

Job Purpose
To focus on channel visitations to drive retailer awareness and turnaround on SIMs and Float while ensuring visibility and merchandising standards at point of purchase for SSOs and T-Kash agents.
Key Responsibilities
- SSO and Agent Recruitment & Mapping – Effectively manage the identification and recruitment of agents, targeting mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores
- Call Rate Management – Visit SSOs and agents regularly using agreed route plans (beat plans)
- Training and Delivery of Business Tools – Provide all requisite tools for transactions at SSO and agent outlets and train SSOs and T-Kash agents on processes
- AML Training and Testing – Train agents on AML and SSOs on KYC processes in relation to SIMREG
- Float and Stock Management – Monitor and effectively enforce 1.5x stock rule for agents and ensure SSOs have adequate stock of SIMs for new registration and activations
- Merchandising – Develop and maintain merchandising standards by availing merchandising materials at SSOs and agent outlets
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in van sales or similar sales role
- Valid Driver's License
- At least 1 year of experience in sales and distribution role in FMCG or Telcos
